| The Python is a multi-purpose tactical sling. It is very popular with US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan because of the many carry options that the conventional 3-point offers. Whether on patrol, in a vehicle, or clearing rooms, the Python keeps the rifle right where you need it. Most 3-points have a limiting buckle or slider that allows the sling to self-adjust to the situation automatically. The Python has an added pull-tab on the adjuster that when pulled all the way to the rear of the stock, puts the sling into what can only be described as Single point mode. Here the user is free to shoot prone, weak-hand, and out of the way for pistol use. |
